American forward Hunter Tyson (203-F-2000, college: Clemson) was the top scorer of the day in the world yesterday with the 38 points he had in the Puerto Rican league. Tyson graduated from Clemson University three years ago. His excellent performance made his team the Gigantes beat the Capitanes 111 to 91. He also added 14 rebounds, 3 assists and 1 steal that evening. 38 points is his new career-high. Among many awards his team made it to the ACC Tournament Semifinals in 2023. Tyson was selected to the NABC Division 1 All District 2 First Team back in 2023 during his college time.
